Privacy
What this site collects, which is very little.
This page describes what happens when you visit sp-rp.com. It is written to be accurate rather than exhaustive: if something is not listed here, it is because the site does not do it.
What the site collects
No analytics. There is no Google Analytics, no tracking pixel and no third-party measurement script anywhere on this site.
No advertising. No adverts are served and no advertising network is given access to your visit.
No tracking cookies. Browsing the public pages - this one, the front page, and both maps - sets no cookies at all. If accounts are opened in future and you sign in, a session cookie will be needed to keep you signed in, and this page will be updated to say so.
What your browser stores
The 3D map keeps a little information in your own browser so it behaves sensibly on a second visit. It stays on your machine and is never sent anywhere:
- whether you have already read and accepted the note explaining what the 3D map costs to run, so you are not asked again;
- how many map tiles to hold, if the page had to restart itself after running out of graphics memory.
The map's data files are also cached by your browser in the ordinary way, which is why a second visit loads quickly. Clearing your browser data removes all of it.
Hosting
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes the requests your browser makes - including your IP address - in order to serve pages and to protect the site from abuse. This is handled under Cloudflare's privacy policy, and we do not receive or store that data ourselves.
Fonts
The site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com when a page opens.
Links to other places
Links to Discord, Ko-fi, Project Eagle and open.mp lead to sites we do not run. Once you follow one, that site's own privacy policy applies.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If what the site collects changes - most likely because accounts open, or because adverts are added - this page will be updated to describe it before that happens.
